Same day · Direct ride

Same-day and direct courier in Berlin.

Booked today, delivered today. On a direct ride your shipment stays with the same courier from pickup to handover – no transfer, no interim storage, no distribution centre.

Because we ride 100% by cargo bike, a direct ride is often the fastest option in the inner city outright. No traffic jams, no hunting for parking, stopping right at the door.

What separates a direct ride from a parcel

With a parcel service your shipment passes through several pairs of hands and at least one distribution centre. On a direct ride it does not: one courier takes the shipment, rides, and hands it over. Nothing happens in between.

That has two practical consequences. First, transit time is predictable, because it depends only on the route and not on the rhythm of a sorting centre. Second, there is exactly one person who knows where your shipment is – and who is reachable by radio.

Termin and Termin Plus, explained simply

At every stop on your tour you can optionally set a window for arrival. How precise that window should be determines the price.

WINDOW

±30 minutes · €5.00 per stop

A generous window for appointments that need to land roughly on time.

WINDOW PLUS

±10 minutes · €10.00 per stop

A tight window, considerably harder for our route planning to hold – and therefore more expensive.

Each stop is booked independently. If three of five stops need a window, you only pay the surcharge for those three. Without a window we deliver in the normal course of the tour, at no surcharge.

What a direct ride costs

Base price €10.00 + per-kilometre rate by shipment size + optional arrival windows + optional extras, net plus 19% VAT. The per-kilometre rate starts at €1.70 for shipments up to 5 kg and runs to €3.30 for shipments up to 50 kg.

When we ride

Our order desk is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. That doesn't mean everything stops at six: orders placed and accepted within those hours get completed afterwards too. What counts is when the job comes in, not when it lands.

On Saturdays we ride tours booked in advance between Monday and Friday – there is no open phone line that day. On Sundays we ride only essential gastronomy tours, at a steep surcharge.

What we don't cover: shipments over 50 kg, so no pallet freight and no furniture removals. And we ride Berlin – for anything beyond the city we work with partners. If your request falls outside that, we'll say so directly rather than sell you a slot we can't hold.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does same day mean here?

Booking and delivery on the same working day. Your order has to come in and be accepted between 9am and 6pm – delivery itself can run later. How fast it goes in practice depends on route and load; we'll tell you on the phone.

Does my shipment really stay with one person?

Yes. On a direct ride there is no transfer and no interim storage.

Can I book a fixed arrival time?

Yes, per stop: ±30 minutes for €5.00, or ±10 minutes for €10.00.

Do you ride at night or at weekends?

Our order desk is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, and orders accepted within those hours get completed afterwards too. On Saturdays we ride tours booked in advance; on Sundays only essential gastronomy tours, at a surcharge.
